I attended two classes with Emily Falconbridge at Ruban Rouge Paper Arts this weekend. I wish I was able to take all of her classes! She has a very laid back fun approach to her scrapping and many of her ideas revolve around things you already have at home. I took the "You Are" class and the "Travel Journal" class. I haven't been able to do much in the travel journal, but I am almost done with the "You Are." This is my first Scrapbook EVER! So, please be kind in your judgments. I have played a little with digital scrapbooking, and even then I've hardly done any pages, let alone a book! I made this for my Grandma who is terminally ill. I wanted to find a way to let her know how I will remember her. I hope this does the trick.
Amanda, I know your Grandma will love your scrapbook and she will know how much you love her. Your pictures are priceless and seeing them makes me think of my own Grammy. You should be proud of yourself. You are very talented and creative both in scrapbooking and beading, and likely in everything you do. I like that you always go just outside the lines and your designs are always unique and beautiful -- like you are. YOU ROCK!
Nugget, We just received the most beautiful scrap book that I have ever seen. It was obviously made with love and great care. Thank you so much. All we can do is to keep her comfortable and let her know that everybody loves her. Your scrap book will help with the latter. Thank you again. love, G'Pa
What a great idea honey. Your Grandma will recognize those pictures and the happy times that went with them. I thought you design was pretty darned good too. I especially liked the flower. Made me smile. You always did have an eye for color. If I owned a fabric store I'd give you one half the profits just to work with me and choose color arrangements. YOU are good.
Those are pretty nice. You are so cool, you're the coolest of the cool people. You're so cool, you make smoke and bubbles when you're dropped into water... like dry ice... only cooler.
